Coffee Types :)

Affogato:

• Vanilla ice cream topped with a shot of espresso

Americano:

• Espresso diluted with hot water.

Black coffee:

• Coffee without added milk.

Cappuccino:

• A shot of espresso with a combination of hot milk and steamed milk. Cappuccino has a larger amount of milk foam than a cafe latte.

Cafe au Lait:

• Equal parts coffee and milk.

Cafe Latte:

• A shot of espresso with hot milk and, sometimes, a small amount of milk foam.

Cafe Breva:

• Espresso served with half-and-half.

Double:

• Two shots of espresso used in any given espresso drink.

Dry Cappuccino:

• Cappuccino made with a smaller amount of milk foam.

Espresso:

• Hot water is forced through finely ground coffee to produce a thick, strong drink.

Espresso Con Panna:

• A shot of espresso with a small amount of whipped cream.

Espresso Macchiato:

• A shot of espresso with a small amount of steamed milk.

Frappe:

• Espresso or instant coffee blended with sugar, water, milk, and ice.

Flavoured coffee:

• Coffee is blended with syrups or spices to add a different flavor.

Flat White:

• Espresso with steamed milk poured from a steaming pitcher over a shot of espresso.

Hammerhead:

• A shot of espresso placed in a cup and filled with coffee.

Irish coffee:

• Coffee, Irish whiskey, and sugar served with cream.

Indian filter coffee:

• Coffee and chicory produce a sweet coffee that is served with milk

Iced coffee:

• Coffee served over ice.

Instant coffee:

• Coffee is freeze-dried to make a powder that can be added to water.

Kopi Luwak:

• Made from the beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by the Asian Palm Civet.

Kopi Tubruk:

• A thick coffee made from boiled coffee grounds and solid sugar.

Long black:

• A blend of hot water and espresso.

Lungo:

• A long pull allows twice the amount of water to pass through the coffee grounds.

Melya:

• Coffee blended with one teaspoon unsweetened powdered cocoa and honey.

Mocha:

• A cappuccino with the addition of chocolate syrup.

Oliang/Oleng:

• A Thai iced coffee drink that contains soy beans, corn, and sesame seeds.

Turkish coffee:

Ristretto:

• Less water is allowed to pass through the coffee grounds

Vietnamese coffee:

• Hot water drips slowly through metal mesh and is poured over ice and sweet condensed milk.
